Let’s get Walking! (Not Online)

What better way to get out, get moving and meet people, than going for a walk?
As restrictions around meeting others outside ease and the weather improves, we are going to be holding short walks in different locations across West Lothian.

We have a new fortnightly Benefits Advice Clinic on Teams, with a benefits advisor from Advice Shop, covering benefits information, checks, and form filling.

How to access our Online Sessions

It’s easy to download the Zoom app or use Teams to join our sessions but if you need any support getting set up, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’d be delighted to help you join us.


You can access zoom by signing up on a PC or laptop or you can download the app to your mobile or tablet
  • For PC and Laptop – sign up via this link
  • For the app – download it from App Store or Google Play. This is what the app logo looks like –

Joining a Zoom group session
  • To join the group via the app, you will need a meeting number
  • To join via Internet access, you will need the URL link
  • These numbers and links are different for each group

Join from the App
  • From your calendar, select Join on a meeting before it has started or one that’s in-progress.
  • Turn your camera on
  • Choose your audio settings
  • Select Join now
Join a Teams without the App

If you don’t have the Teams app, you can still join a Teams meeting

  • In your email invite, select Click here to join the meeting
    You can also use a dial-in number and conference ID from the email to call in
  • You have three choices:
    1 – Download the Windows app: Download the Teams desktop app
    2 – Continue on this browser: Join a Teams meeting on the web
    3 – Open your Teams app: If you already have the Teams app, go right to your meeting
  • Choose your audio and video settings
  • Select Join now
  • Depending on meeting settings, you will get in right away, or go to a lobby where someone in the meeting will admit you
