Last week we held our very first celebration evening at the Terrace Restaurant in West Lothian College, and WOW! What a night it was! Our plates were piled high with an amazing selection of street foods and our glasses were kept full of lovely wine.
To accompany the night, we had local singer-songwriter Sandy Stewart and his band on the microphone, providing us with some beautiful tunes. He even launched his new song ‘Make the Call’—written for Carers of West Lothian. The lyrics really resonated with us and our guests and we’ll be sure to share when the song is uploaded online!
Our MC Alan guided us through the event, and eventually, it was time to announce our raffle winners. Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket! We have now contacted all the lucky winners, most of whom are already enjoying their prizes.
Carers of West Lothian would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone who was involved in such a wonderful evening. Firstly, we’re really grateful to West Lothian College and their amazing students for allowing us to host such an event in the first place! Thank you also to Alan, Sandy and his band for providing the entertainment for the night—it was clear everyone thoroughly loved it!
